This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Narra Filipino Restaurant is an absolute gem, offering not just amazing food but a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. The food, however, is the real star. Their Bulalo is incredible and as authentic as it gets. It comes out piping hot, with a deeply savory, rich bone marrow broth that tastes like it has been simmering all day. The beef shank is fall-off-the-bone tender, perfectly complemented by the fresh cabbage, bok choy, and sweet corn. It is pure comfort in a bowl. You absolutely cannot leave without trying their Halo-Halo, but be warned: the serving is huge! It arrives in a towering glass, generously layered with all the traditional fixings—sweetened beans, chewy jellies, jackfruit, and finely shaved ice with perfectly balanced milk. It is crowned with a thick, creamy slice of leche flan and a massive scoop of rich ube ice cream. It is easily big enough for two people to split, but so refreshing and delicious you might end up wanting it all to yourself. Generous portions, spot-on traditional flavors, and excellent service. Some of the best food I’ve ever had in Savannah! It was so fresh and delicious 🥹 we got chicken lumpia, pancit and a beef dish that were all exceptional. Everything was piping hot with quality ingredients. So flavorful and rich, we couldn’t get enough. The atmosphere was inviting and welcoming with beautiful decor all around and Kim our server was so sweet! To top it off the cassava cake at the end was so good we took 2 to go lol. Price was extremely reasonable as well which is so necessary in today’s economy. We will definitely be coming back to dine in again, and we can’t wait!

Overall our experience was great. Super friendly staff. Our food was hot and fresh when it was delivered to the table, plus it tasted great! They had a wide selection of food from a burger to noodle dishes and my favorite, lumpia!, while still maintaining traditional Filipino flavors. The only downside that I had, was my shoes sticking to the floor after using the restroom. Other than that, we will be coming back!

First time at Narra Tree, I ordered the Chicken Inasal and it was delicious! The adobo fries was out of this world good! The Narra Tree special lumpia was kind of bland, I couldn't taste no flavor but it probably was my taste buds and I also ordered the flan, it was normal. Presentation and atmosphere was great.

We visited today and had a very pleasant experience. It’s a small, bright, and cozy Filipino restaurant with a calm, family-friendly atmosphere. When we arrived, it was quiet, we ordered right away, and the food came quickly — no waiting at all. The service was lovely; our server was very kind and attentive. The tables were clean, which I really appreciate. The noodle dish was average but totally fair for the price — good value for money. I didn’t personally enjoy the sake, but that’s a very personal preference. The best dish at our table was definitely the steak — flavorful and delicious, and something I’d happily order again. My daughter didn’t love her chicken rice, but I tasted it and thought it was quite good. Overall, we paid around $88 for three people, left full and satisfied, and felt it was very reasonable for the area. A simple, warm, and efficient place — perfect for a relaxed meal while shopping nearby. We’d gladly come back.
